FAQs

How do you help me improve my chances of getting accepted?

Every applicant I work with gets direct, 1:1 mentoring from me personally — not a team, not junior editors, not a system. I’ve served on numerous admissions committees, so I know what gets flagged, what gets remembered, and what earns an acceptance. I guide you through every step: crafting your journey into your personal statement and experiences, building a strong experience profile, selecting schools strategically, developing your essays to committee-ready standard, preparing for interviews, and managing the process through your final decision. The goal isn’t just to submit a complete application — it’s to submit one a committee can’t ignore.

How much experience do you have?

Over 35 years across medicine and admissions, eight MD and DO admissions committees, and more than 20,000 applicants counseled. For more than eight consecutive years, my clients who followed my guidance and earned interviews have achieved a 100% acceptance rate — with placements at Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Duke, Johns Hopkins, and many more. I’m also a physician myself (MD/PhD), so I understand this journey from every angle.

Do you help with personal statements/experiences, secondary essays and interview prep?

These are three of the most important parts of my work — and three of the areas where many applicants leave the most on the table. I don’t just edit your personal statement; I help you uncover the narrative that makes a committee stop and pay attention. Your experiences (work and activities) are refined for maximum impact. For interviews, I coach you with the perspective of someone who’s spent decades on the other side of that conversation — because knowing what they’re actually evaluating changes how you prepare.

What if I’m not ready when application time comes?

Then we don’t rush it — because submitting before you’re ready is one of the most common and costly mistakes applicants make. Every client has the option to move their cycle forward one year at no additional charge: giving you more time to strengthen your GPA, retake the MCAT, build clinical hours, or close any gaps we’ve identified. I’d rather help you apply once from a position of strength than apply twice because we pushed the timeline.

How many clients do you work with?

I intentionally limit my practice to a very small number of clients each cycle. This is by design: it’s the only way to deliver the kind of personal, white-glove mentoring that this process actually requires and that my clients are investing in. When I take you on, you get my full attention and expertise, not a fraction of it.

What does a free consultation include?

A free consultation is a 30 minute, candid, no-pressure conversation about where you stand right now: your academics, your experiences, your timeline, and your competitiveness. You’ll be asked to complete my intake questionaire prior to our call.  This will enable me to maximize our call and allow you to leave with a clear picture of your strengths, an honest assessment of any gaps, and a sense of what the smartest next steps are, whether or not we end up working together. There’s no pitch — just the kind of honest guidance I wish every applicant had access to.  Spots are limited so if you are serious about this type of mentorship for your journey - request yours today.

Thousands of Applicants Will Submit This Cycle. Committees Will Remember a Fraction of Them.

Every year - only about 42% of applicants who apply to medical school will receive an acceptance (meaning more people are denied than accepted).

The difference isn’t just your GPA or your MCAT (in fact 50% of those denied have strong GPAs and MCAT scores). It’s your experiences and whether your application tells a story that makes a committee stop, pay attention, and fight for your seat in their class. That’s not something you can figure out alone — and it’s not something most corporate advising programs actually deliver.

Dr. Anita Paschall, MD/PhD has spent 35+ years on the other side of the admissions table — serving on eight medical school admissions committees, counseling 20,000+ applicants, and maintaining a 100% acceptance rate for more than eight consecutive years among clients who followed her guidance and earned interviews.

Now she works directly with a limited number of medical school applicants* each cycle through The Paschall Method — Premier Admissions Mentorship: one-on-one, white-glove mentoring that covers everything from pre-application strategy to personal statement development, school-list building, secondary essays, interview preparation, and support through your acceptance and final decision.

No hand-offs. No anonymous editors. No guesswork. Just the most experienced admissions expert you’ll find — personally in your corner, start to finish - working to create your “Applicant Brand” that get’s you noticed!

Your future is too important for generic advice. If you are serious about this process - request your free consultation.

Full-Cycle, White-Glove Application Support

From your first strategy session to your final acceptance, I guide every component of your application personally: School List, Primary, Work & Activities, Secondaries, and follow-through. No hand-offs. No editors who’ve never met you and have no idea what admissions committees are looking for. Every piece is developed with you, refined to articulate your voice and “applicant brand” then returned committee-ready - because I know exactly what “ready” looks like from the other side of that table.

Essays & Interview Coaching That Committees Actually Remember

A strong personal statement isn’t about beautiful writing: it’s about making a committee stop and pay attention.
I help you uncover the story you don’t know you’re sitting on, refine that voice in your experiences and then craft secondary essays that reinforce your brand for every school. I then prepare you for interviews with the kind of insider coaching that only comes from someone who’s spent decades asking the questions. I teach you how to interview for any interview question.  The secret is not trying to prepare for each school - it’s how to prepare each applicant’s selling points to stay in the mind of your interviewer - long after you step out the door.

Your Strategy. Your Brand. Your Committee-Ready Application.

Most applicants have the stats. What they don’t have is someone who understands how committees actually evaluate a file: what gets flagged, what gets skimmed, and what earns a second read. Through The Paschall Method, I identify your strongest differentiators and build them into a cohesive applicant brand that doesn’t just check boxes but tells a story a committee wants to say yes to - leading to your A for Acceptance.

The Expert Behind The Paschall Method - Meet Dr. Anita Paschall, MD/PhD

Most admissions advisors tell you what they think committees want. Dr. Paschall has spent 35+ years on the other side of those tables — and she’s built her career on the difference.

A physician/scientist herself, Dr. Paschall has served on or supported eight MD and DO admissions committees: personally counseled more than 20,000 applicants, and founded and scaled nationally recognized admissions programs. Also, as the former Director of Health Professions Advising at an R1 university, she more than doubled student acceptance rates: from below 40% to above 85%.

For more than eight consecutive years, her clients who followed her guidance and earned interviews have achieved a 100% acceptance rate — with placements at Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Duke, Johns Hopkins, and many more.

She didn’t build Paschall Medical Admissions to be the biggest program. She built it to be the most personal one: limited clients, direct mentoring, and a genuine commitment to reducing the stress and maximizing the outcome for every applicant she works with.

A first-generation college student herself, a former Division I athlete, who speaks seven languages, Dr. Paschall understands firsthand what it means to work for every opportunity — and she brings that same drive to every client under her guidance.

I almost didn’t hire Anita because I already had a pre-health advisor. That decision would have been a huge mistake. She guided every step of my application—from my personal statement and secondaries to interview prep and school selection. Her encouragement kept me going through multiple rejections, and in the end, I was accepted to my dream school, Tulane University School of Medicine.
AP
Medical school admissions can feel overwhelming, but Anita made every step manageable. She helped me uncover the strongest parts of my story, refine every essay, answer countless questions, and approach interviews with confidence. I couldn’t have asked for a more knowledgeable or supportive advisor.
LR
Before working with Anita, interviews were my biggest fear. Through mock interviews and honest feedback, she helped me become confident in both traditional and MMI formats. Her support led to interviews at incredible schools—and ultimately an acceptance to one of my dream programs.
JP
What sets Anita apart is her ability to see the story behind your accomplishments. She didn’t just edit my essays—she helped me build a compelling narrative that reflected who I truly am. Her admissions insight helped me earn acceptance to my dream medical school and a full-ride scholarship.
SC
I started working with Anita just before submitting my primary application, and I only wish I had found her sooner. From essays and interviews to school selection, her expertise and steady encouragement made the entire process feel organized, focused, and far less stressful.
MW
As a first-generation pre-med student, I had more questions than answers. Anita was there for every one of them. Her experience, accessibility, and genuine investment in my success gave me the confidence to navigate the process and ultimately earn acceptance to a Tier 1 medical school.
LH
I went into the application cycle expecting a handful of interviews. Instead, with Anita’s guidance, I received 15 interview invitations from 20 schools and multiple acceptances. She transformed what I expected to be an overwhelming process into one I actually enjoyed.
KS
As a non-traditional applicant, I had no idea how to make my application competitive. Anita gave me a clear roadmap, helped me strengthen every weakness, and eliminated the guesswork. Her guidance led to multiple MD acceptances, including merit scholarships.
WM
After an unsuccessful application cycle, Anita helped me completely rethink my approach. She guided how I spent my gap year, strengthened every part of my application, and prepared me for interviews with confidence. I know I wouldn’t be attending medical school without her support.
CS
When others questioned whether medical school was realistic for me, Anita saw my potential. She helped me rebuild my application, communicate my story with confidence, and stay focused on the goal. Today, I’m a third-year osteopathic medical student preparing for COMLEX because she believed in me.
